The is currently zero Census data on this comic, this is extremely good news if you own a near mint to mint copy. I would suggest sticking with the (9.4) at positive +66.6%. If you purchase a mint copy it will run you about $100-$150. ThunderCats #1 (Canadian Edition) was also printed in 1985 with a different cover artist Brett Breeding and it was based on the animated television series. In addition, you can purchase the Canadian Variant if you feel so inclined. This book looks to be a great bet on the Thunder-Kids coming of age and wanting to own this book. The two best grades are (9.6) at positive +46.8% and (9.4) positive +35.5%. With the exception of grade (9.0) at negative -31.7% all other grades look pretty solid. Furthermore, the total CGC Census has only 353 books slabbed this is a truly great number for an investment or speculation in this comic. I wonder did they have a super catbox as well in their headquarters? The grade of mint (9.8) sold for $200 on eBay on 10/22/18, additionally it’s FMV value is also $200 a good sign. ThunderCats #1 was published December 1985 with pencils by Jim Mooney.
THUNDERCATS 2019 SERIES
They were “originally published by Marvel in Star Comics an imprint in 1985, lasting for three years and twenty-four issues.” During this time, a new series was published by “ Marvel UK consisting of 129 issues and was also published for three years” (Source: Wiki).ĭavid Michelinie and Leonard Starr did the superlative writing for these ferocious felines. Much like He-Man they had big muscles and could do extraordinary things with their energy blasts and physicality.
THUNDERCATS 2019 TV
There were also several comic book series produced, the “ThunderCats comic book series was based on the animated series” on TV in 1980’s. But can the Thunder of the Cats provide booming profits in your wallet? They (ThunderCats) also have a strong catalyst in that an animated series will start running in 2019. I mean to get that massive the entire animated cast must all be on dialysis thirty years later. Sing it with me, “Thunder! Thunder! ThunderCats!” “This team of humanoid cats fights evil on their adopted homeworld.” I don’t know one thing about them other than the clip I just watched but I will tell you they are steroid ripped like Arnold Schwarzenegger back in the 1970’s. Does this crazy Thunder-Feline toy, Television series, and comic book franchise offer the same kind of returns? Better believe it, there is apparently a plan to premiere ThunderCats on the Cartoon Network in 2019. Nowhere near as popular as He-Man but certainly lasting just as long.

So, count yourself lucky that we had what we had, when we had it.The ThunderCats is kind of a weak cousin of He-Man. I appreciate that a counter argument to all this is the fact that we watched the original ThunderCats cartoon when we were 6-8 years-old and the cartoon was clearly not ‘kiddified’. Let them have something they might actually like… that could keep the franchise going for many years to come. I understand where all the anger is coming from, but blame the fact you’re getting old and not the fact that Cartoon Network want to create a cartoon for the kids that watch the channel. Yes, this will mean that Hell has frozen over. Yes, this does mean we are likely to see a Crazy Frog revival. Give it a few more years and the ’00s kids will be the focus. In more recent years, Power Rangers, Jumanji, Jurassic World and so on have been looking to grab the attention of the kids from the ’90s. A few years ago properties such as Transformers, Turtles and the like were looking to grab the attention of the ’80s generation. The truth is, our generation is moving past the point where things we watched as kids are being rebooted with us in mind.
